We LOVE a good party and have attended many at venues across Exeter with our traditional photo booths and Magic Mirror.

Popular party venues and some of our favourites around the city include Sandy Park, Exeter Racecourse, Mercure Exeter Rougemont Hotel, Double Locks, Reed Hall, Oak Barn in Hittisleigh, Exeter Golf and Country Club, Exeter Castle and Powderham Castle .
Whether at wedding receptions, 18th, 21st, 30th. 40th & 50th birthday parties, office parties or corporate engagements, a Yellowbooth photo booth or Magic Mirror are NEVER short on fun! You’ll find our booths often gather a crowd at a party and at the centre of all the antics going on! It’s a good job there’s always a camera around to capture the moment!
pic. our lovely olde worlde city of Exeter – full of promise & cream teas …. we do like to enjoy ourselves!
Now, about this amazing city we like to call Exeter …
Exeter is a really friendly highly Cosmopolitan city. Everyone you meet is really nice and unlike other places, always have the time of day for you – this makes for an ideal location for your celebration. We like to get together and have a laugh!

Exeter is an historic city with it’s 11th century cathedral, it’s castle and medieval Guildhall which makes for interesting wanderings and meanderings around the roads and the lanes.
Pic. And wait till you spot ‘the house that moved‘ (!!)
When in town, experience a feeling of claustrophobia when you walk up the world’s narrowest street, Parliament Street!
When you have had your fill of interesting attractions around the town, why not have a delicious cream tea at the Wharf or beside the Cathedral?
pic. In Exeter we eat our cream tea with the jam on the top! Yummy!
Cream tea parties are very popular features at a number of weddings we have taken our photo booths along to! Hopefully there is always a spare scone left over for hungry photo booth attendants.
Exeter is so easy to get to with it’s convenient location right at the beginning of the M5, 2 main railway stations and about half a dozen sub railway stations. There’s also an airport, several Park & Ride schemes about the city for the drivers and a huge bus network for the passengers amongst us.
It’s within easy reach of Plymouth, Torquay, Cornwall, Bristol and the Midlands – so all in all, Exeter’s a pretty accessible location for parties and celebrations of any description.
pic. Exeter city centre is the perfect retail therapy destination!
Retail therapy is on offer in abundance with all the shopping possibilities available around the city centre. Ideal for shopping for those party dresses!
There are indoor shopping centres (including the Guildhall), pedestrianised streets with all the designer labels and street markets. Alongside all the shops in the city centre sit the numerous coffee shops and restaurants – perfectly situated to recharge the batteries before hitting the shops again!
If you’ve had enough of the shops (huh?) there’s a whole range of theatres, galleries (try Exeter Phoenix, Spacex and the Royal Albert Memorial museum) and attractions to make your stay more interesting. Golfers on hen and stag dos will enjoy everything that the uber smart Exeter Golf & Country Club has to offer with its stunning 18 hole golf course and spa facilities!

That’s the day time organised, now for what Exeter brings to the evening…
You’ll be spoilt for choice with so many pubs, bars, clubs and other night time attractions! There is always plenty to keep you and your party people satisfied during the evenings in Devon’s no 1 city. Cream teas, cruises and nice people – what a good place for a party! Suggestions to get your night started include Mama Stone’s, the Walkabout, the Timepiece and the Arena.
pic, capture the best party moments as well as create them for your guests with a Yellowbooth photobooth!
Where to stay in Exeter is as you would expect – packed with options with all shapes and sizes of hotel on offer and plenty of them at that! Suggestions include the Mercure Southgate Hotel (boutique in style with nice restaurant and spa facilities – perfect for your hen night! Another big plus is that it is right bang in the city centre), the City Gate Hotel, Exeter’s best Western Hotel and for a hotel in a stunning location on the outskirts of Exeter why not try the Deer Park Country Hotel.

I hope I’ve given you plenty to think about when it comes to planning your Exeter party but may I also (cheekily) suggest, a party is not a party without a photo booth. I would say that (I hear you say) I have a photo booth company – but I really believe in the value it brings to a party. As well as the cheesy fun and daftness a photo booth adds to a party, it is a great icebreaker (ideal when your party guests don’t know one another very well) and is purely loads of laughs. And you can personalise each and every print-out to bring lasting memories for you and your guests.
